C.A.T4 Manager
C.A.T4 Manager is the Windows® PC software package for Radiodetection’s Cable Avoidance Tools
C.A.T4 Manager allows operators to:
- Configure their C.A.T4s
- Transfer and review log data (eC.A.T4 and gC.A.T4 models)
- Export log data as CSV, XLS or KML files (gC.A.T4 models required for KML files)
- Remotely certify their locators’ calibration using eCert™
- Download and install updated software for their Locator

C.A.T4 Manager is compatible with Microsoft Windows.
Administrator privileges are required to install C.A.T4 Manager.
Internet access may be required to access some features of the software, consult user manual for details.

Installing or upgrading C.A.T Manager on Windows
If you are installing or upgrading your software to C.A.T Manager 6.14 on your PC or laptop, download the zip installation file and follow these instructions.
- Extract the compressed folder to a temporary location
- Navigate to and run the setup.exe file in the temporary folder to start the setup program
- Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation
- You may delete the temporary folder and compressed folder if required once installation is complete
If you are installing C.A.T Manager 6.14 as part of a wider deployment you can use the C.A.T Manager 6.14 Silent Installer zip file. Installation instructions are available here .
Software upgrades
Radiodetection recommends keeping your C.A.T4 always up-to-date with the latest software. Software upgrades offer enhanced performance and are free to download using C.A.T4 Manager.

We recommend that you perform a complete backup of your data logs before performing a software upgrade to your C.A.T4 locator.
