Ease of use of Radiodetection’s new RD5100 range of precision locator products addresses the concerns and challenges of users such as those in the Water and Gas Industries locating buried pipes and cables.

Locating and marking buried pipes and cables quickly, accurately and easily minimises downtime during repair and maintenance activities. It also minimises damage which can be costly and potentially dangerous.

Radiodetection is pleased to announce the RD5100 Series of precision pipe and cable locators which combine ease of use that will provide the occasional user with the accuracy, repeatability and reliability that professional locating technicians have come to expect from Radiodetection’s locator products.

Tracing subsurface utilities can often present major difficulties and this can be made even worse where a pipe has rubber seals, insulators or gaps between sections. The RD5100 Series has been designed to address these issues, specifically addressing the concerns and challenges of users such as those in the Water and Gas Industries locating buried pipes and cables.

The RD5100 Series consists of three kits, each offering Guidance Mode to guide users in their locating tasks. Guidance Mode displays directional information alongside depth and current information to help find the utility and at the same time ensure the correct target is being traced. This method simplifies operation and enables rapid ground coverage.

RD5100 Series is built on Radiodetection’s pedigree for performance, quality and durability and is backed with a three year warranty through product registration.

RD5100 Series supersedes RD5000

Radiodetection’s RD5000 products will be phased out with the introduction of the RD5100 Series that provides improvements in performance, capabilities and options.
