Radiodetection’s Bristol, UK office hosted a charity bake sale to support Macmillan Cancer Support…

Individuals and organisations all over the UK take part in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning that helps bring people together and raise funds for an important cause. The first ever Coffee Morning started back in 1990 and come from a simple idea; guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their drink to Macmillan in the process. Since then it has raised over £200 million for Macmillan.

Radiodetection’s Coffee Morning took place on Wednesday 2nd October and saw many departments come together for a slice (or 3) of cake. It also uncovered some star bakers here at Radiodetection. Our judging panel that consisted of Simon Knights, Regional Sales Director and Lynn Williams, Finance Director voted for the winner. The Star Baker award went to Thomas Davies, who baked a selection of homemade sausage rolls. They were such a success that all 240 went within 2 hours!

Well done, Tom!
