Radiodetection 'Win a PCMx Kit Competition' Terms and Conditions

This document integrates all confirmations: 18+ limit, mandatory draw verification, UK draw location, English-only T&Cs, transfer of risk upon dispatch, no re-delivery coverage, standard warranty, and Radiodetection Ltd as the Data Controller.

1. Competition Details

1.1. Organiser: Radiodetection Ltd (The Organiser). 1.2. Event: ADIPEC Exhibition & Conference, Abu Dhabi. 1.3. Stand Number: 8515. 1.4. Competition Period: The Competition is open from the start of the show on Monday, 3 November 2025, until the closing deadline. 1.5. Closing Deadline: 16:30 GST on Thursday, 6 November 2025. 1.6. This Competition is a free prize draw and does not constitute a lottery or form of gambling under the Gambling Act 2005. The random draw will be conducted in the United Kingdom and is governed solely by the laws of England and Wales. 1.7. The Competition is administered and drawn entirely in the United Kingdom. No aspect of the draw is conducted in the United Arab Emirates. The prize is provided for promotional purposes only and is not a form of gambling, lottery, or paid-entry promotion under UAE law.

2. Eligibility and Entry

2.1. Eligibility: The competition is open to all registered ADIPEC attendees aged 18 or over. 2.2. Exclusions: Employees of Radiodetection, their immediate families, agents, distributors, and government officials or employees of state-owned entities are not eligible to enter. 2.3. Entry Method: To enter, participants must scan the QR code on the A6 flyers and complete the contact form on the dedicated competition landing page, providing the minimum details required to verify eligibility and contact the winner (e.g., name, company, email, and country). Entries missing required administrative information may, at the Organiser’s discretion, be disqualified. Consent to receive marketing communications is entirely optional and not a condition of entry. 2.4. Entry Limit: Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified. 2.5. Cost of Entry: There is no entry fee, and no purchase is necessary.

3. The Prize

3.1. Prize: One (1) Radiodetection PCMx Kit. 3.2. Kit Components: PCMx Locator, Tx-25 PCM Transmitter Kit, A Frame, and Soft Bag. 3.3. Approximate Value: Estimated retail value of $13,593,000 based on the current USA price list. 3.4. Warranty: The prize is covered only by the standard manufacturer's warranty as found in official product information and does not include any extended or unique warranty provided by virtue of winning the Competition. 3.5. Non-Transferable: The prize is non-transferable, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equivalent or higher value.

4. Winner Selection and Delivery

4.1. Selection Method: The winner will be selected by random, unweighted electronic draw conducted by Radiodetection Ltd in the United Kingdom. 4.2. Winner Notification: The winner will be notified by email and/or phone call on or before Thursday, 13 November 2025 (within 7 days of the show closing). 4.3. Claim and Verification: The winner must claim the prize by confirming acceptance within seven (7) days of initial notification. To confirm eligibility, the winner must also provide proof of their ADIPEC badge/registration upon request. Failure to claim or provide verification within this period will result in the prize being withdrawn and a replacement winner being selected. 4.4. Delivery and Risk: Radiodetection will arrange and cover the costs of delivery and standard shipping insurance to the winner’s confirmed company address. The risk of loss or damage to the prize transfers to the winner upon dispatch from the Organiser’s facility in the UK. 4.5. Failed Delivery: The winner is responsible for providing a correct address and ensuring the successful acceptance of the shipment. The Organiser will not cover the cost of any re-delivery attempts caused by winner's error (e.g., incorrect address, failure to accept delivery). Such failure may result in the withdrawal of the prize and the selection of a replacement winner. 4.6. Taxes/Duties: The winner is responsible for any applicable local taxes, import duties, or clearance fees in their jurisdiction.

5. Data Protection and Publicity

5.1. Data Controller and Use: The Data Controller for the personal data collected is Radiodetection Ltd. Personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of administering the Competition and notifying the winner, based on the Organiser’s legitimate interests and/or the performance of a contract, as applicable. Data will be retained only as long as necessary for these purposes and to comply with legal obligations. . 5.2. Marketing Consent (OPTIONAL): Consent to receive marketing material from Radiodetection is not mandatory to enter the competition. Entrants may be given the option to opt in to receive relevant product and industry updates. 5.3. Disclosure: Personal data will not be disclosed to any third party outside of the SPX Technologies group of companies without the entrant's explicit consent. 5.4. Publicity: The winner agrees to the use of their name, company, and image in any post-event publicity material (e.g., social media or website announcements).

6. General Conditions

6.1. Final Decision: The Organiser's decision in all matters related to the Competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 6.2. Amendments: The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or these terms without notice due to events outside its control. 6.3. Governing Law: The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by the Laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. The binding language of these terms is English. Nothing in these terms is intended to breach or contravene any laws or regulations of the United Arab Emirates or limit any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to entrants outside the United Kingdom
